• Have a template to formulate and execute an effective self-marketing and college search plan (including sample letters to coaches and player profiles/resumes)
• Know what questions to ask coaches!
• Fully understand how athletic scholarships and financial aid works at all levels.
• Are armed with the tools to successfully evaluate their own level of ability and the overall quality of the program they are looking at.
• Understand how the recruiting and admissions process works from the perspective of the college and how to use it to your advantage.
• Know where to find resources that will help them in this process.
• Are aware of all options at the NCAA, NAIA, JC and Prep levels.
